Baggage policy

Carry-On Allowance- Passengers can carry one piece of baggage for free (depending on the class you travel), as well as any duty-free items. They may also carry other necessary items such as a small camera or a walking stick on board.

Carry-On Allowance according cabin Class

First Class Passengers: 2 bags must not exceed the limits of 33lb/ 15kg (20 x 15 x 10in/ 50 x 37 x 25cm)

Business Class Passengers: 2 bags must not exceed the limits of 33lb/ 15kg (20 x 15 x 10in/ 50 x 37 x 25cm)

Economy Class Passengers: 1 bag must not exceed the limits of 15lb/ 7kg (20 x 15 x 10in/ 50 x 37 x 25cm)

Checked Baggage Allowance

Qatar Airways has different policies for different routes.

Flights to and from Brazil:

2 bags must not exceed the limits of 70lb (32 kg) and a maximum dimension of 62in (158 cm)

Flights between Brazil and Argentina:

2 bags must not exceed the limits of 50lb (23 kg) and a maximum dimension of 62 in (158 cm)

All other flights of Argentina, Canada, and the U.S:

First and Business Class: 2 bags must not exceed the limits of 70lb/ 32kg maximum dimensions 62in/ 158cm

Economy Class: 2 bags must not exceed the limits of 50lb/ 23kg maximum dimensions 62in/ 158cm

Flights to and from all other destinations:

First Class: baggage must not exceed the limits of 110lb (50kg)

Business Class: baggage must not exceed the limits of 88lb (40kg)

Check-in online

For U.S. Flights- Online check-in opens 24 hours prior to departure

Note- check-in service for flights to the U.S. opens 24 hours prior to departure from Doha.

For all other flights- online check-in is available 48 hours to 90 minutes before departure.

Check-in Airport

Passengers can easily check-in on the airport through dedicated counters. The airport check-in closes 60 minutes before the departure of the flight.
